  • The Dacquoise absorbed so much liquid from the cream that I could have cut it with a spoon. If you want it to stay crisp you may want to paint it with chocolate first!

  • @b.a.k.e_d it looks like I didn’t tag you in my response about cutting it, did you happen to see it? It had absorbed so much liquid from the cream that it cut super easily and I could have just used a spoon. Painting the layers with chocolate would help keep the crisp, if you wanted that!
