  • Ok I’m gonna try, i do a deep dish apple pie and i use crust dust and that helps but I’ve always wanted to blind bake it but the sides i thought would slump. I just need like 3 pounds of beans and i should be good. AND I’m gonna try the vodka!! (In the crust)

  • @zoebakes what temperature did you bake your pie shell at? Mine always leaks and slumps. I’ve tried swapping shortening into the all butter recipe I use, but that didn’t seem to help all that much last time. I also tried baking longer than recommended before pulling the pie weights, but I still don’t think it was enough.
