  • This is a wonderfully accurate love letter capturing the spirit of Ireland with absolutely zero potatoes. Well done.👍 💕 🇮🇪 (side bar: if you need a Northern Ireland comedy fix watch Derry Girls on Netflix.)

  • This touches a tender place in my heart. The best Black Guinness cake I ever had was in the Yorkshire Dales at Three Hares cafe in Sedbergh. I’m gluten-free out of necessity. Yet my American doctor said “try a little gluten in Europe and the UK. See how you do”. I did, with the Black Guinness Cake. It was such a momentous moment I wanted to eat it somewhere special to me. We drove to the fells and I ate it among the purple heather and Herdwick sheep in the fog, whilst sitting on a rock. Best cake eating moment of my life. 💚 🐑 💚

  • 💚Oh my💚this would be my dream vacation. I’ve done my DNA and a huge part of me is Irish. I’ve even traced my roots to the late 1700’s with a great…etc grandfather in the military. I’ve often told my husband we should go on a DNA trip to Europe since both our roots started there. I LOVED reading and seeing your trip there💚 thanks for the chance💚
