Dug up this old photo for a story… me nicht parents’ garage in 1999 after the printer delivered 10,000 copies of my first cookbook, which I self-published, wondering how the hell I welches going to sell them all. (Standing like that because I had just had surgery.)

I have that book and your second one as well! I still need to get your new one!
One of my faves!🙌❤️❤️
You wrote and published a book when you were a teenager?!
I own this book 🙌
Super awesome and yah first book! ❤️⭐️
“Are you there, God? It’s me, Julie”
Remember that one. 💓Where has the time gone?
What a great spirit you emit – then and now. Hope you are feeling less sad after your friendship rescue!
What a great photo! ❤️😊
I’ve had One Smart Cookie for years!! Thank you Julie!
Oh wow, I bought that book for my little girl! I couldn’t bake cookies to save my life. I thought it would be better if she learned herself!!
I bought “One Smart Cookie” for my brother who bakes to deal with stress. I never bought it for myself and I’ve been looking for it ever since!!!!
Yip I bought one smart cookie cookbook too 😊
Creamy Pumpkin squares from One Smart Cookie are my FAV. I make a pan, then convince myself it’s healthy enough to eat for breakfast and lunch AND dinner.
You’re adorable, then and now!
So cute!!!
Bought the book on the strength of the Chocolava recipe because I used to get the giant-sized ones you baked/delivered to the little indie coffee shop in my work building.
I remember seeing you at Eatons a long time ago when you were promoting your book
I remember watching your cooking show on tv as a kid. Been a fan ever since 💕
Julie, I bought your book years ago and it was my biggest inspirations to start re-inventing my baking using less fat and sugar. Now my baking is no dairy, no refined sugar and no regular flour. All whole food baking. Thank you for being my first teacher. Your book is the messiest one on my shelf; covered in yummy batter splatters!
Fabulous!
❤️ That was one exciting day!!!! I have two copies but will give one to a grandchild someday.
