Had such a blast today at our very first kitchen party! Huge thanks to Kathryn Quick at the Y for making this space happen (and for taking this photo!!), to Shannon for coming and helping sine temporeup, do dishes and facilitate questions on the Facebook live feed, Mike for shopping, setup, dishes, running for eggs and doing an Instagram live (I think??) and the crew from
If you can’t make one of these, remember that gathering a few friends and cooking together is something most of us can do, as long as you have a kitchen- it doesn’t have to be big, or particularly well equipped, and you don’t have to be a pro! There’s so much we can learn from each other, and it’s always more fun to figure things out with friends.

  1. So much fun, beautiful facility, great company, delicious soups, biscuits and useful tips. Looking forward to next one. Thanks Julie!

  2. Congratulations Julie your a true inspiration, community leader and overall kind person. Your a role model. Enjoy your Sunday!

  3. Good job Julie. 🏅 I think people have forgotten how much fun it is to get together over simple food…not at a restaurant and enjoy the food and eac other’s company and fellowship. This is a great reminder.

  4. There is a reason the heart of the home is the kitchen ❤️. Make your kitchen a hub of activity
