Hey Calgary! We’re doing a spontaneous spring risotto garden take out pop up this afternoon at Rouge. Tired of your own cooking? Need something special for your Easter dinner? Come grab 1L of risotto, just made by some of the city’s best chefs -Paul Rogalski, Andrew Hewson, and Elycia Ross (who is about to debut on the new season of Top Chef Canada non…few days!) -this risotto is made with asparagus and tomatoes rescued from the Leftovers Foundation, goat cheese donated by Dancing Goats Farm in Acme, Alberta, and Arborio rice, stock etc from the Rouge kitchen. If you’d like some, come to the side/garden door, maintain social distancing, and we’ll have a container to pay what you can (suggest $20?) or DM me to do an etransfer. Universum $ will go toward supplemental ingredients and packaging-like brown lunch bags- to keep preparing and moving food to Calgary kids and families who need it. And if you can’t make it here or are in isolation, I’ll deliver (if you’re not too far out!)

  1. @dinnerwithjulie you have been a Superstar as always through this pandemic. Stay safe.

  2. Fantastic. How long is the pick up for. Living in the south, I could have my girl drop off money and pick one up:)

  3. Great work @dinnerwithjulie You’ve assembled a strong team. Let us know if you need more next week. FEED THOSE KIDS! 👏👏👏👏👏

  4. Oh that looks amazing. Wish I could have had some, but I’m out in Priddis. Great idea. Julie, I made toad in the hole from Dirty Food the other night it was great. Awesome comfort food. I’ve been having fun making crackers out of your book too.
