I know a lot of you are missing good restaurant fries-fast food fries aren’t quite the same, and they never travel well. I posted a super simple (and not at all scary) technique over on Instagram stories that produces restaurant-worthy fries in your own kitchen. Universum you need is a couple russets, oil + salt.
I had the wrong kind of potatoes they took forever and were alright. Had to eat our burgers first.
Thank you!🌞💛
Yesssss! Our (leftover) curry and chips were just what the doctor ordered tonight 😋
Nice. Russets, oil and salt. Simple is good. Thanks! We have to do our part and eat potatoes!!!!
My favourite!
I had no idea!! Thank you!
The only thing that stops me from home French frying is what to do with all of that leftover oil? Do you re-use it? When it’s finally done, how do you dispose of it? Would love some advice?
Wow! Favorite. Thank you for sharing the tips. ❤️
Thank you🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing! Must try this method. 😋
Thank you for this!!!! Had no idea.
You had me at fry ❤️
How can I find this on Instagram stories?
Made some beautiful fries using this method tonight! It is going to be a struggle to not make them all the time now that I know a non-scary way of doing it! Thanks for sharing!
Missed screen-shoting the story. Quick recap? Cut potatoes, just cover with oil…bring to boil? Till golden? And voila?!
Just got Russets as a sub in my grocery order and wasn’t sure how best to cook them… Now I do!
@julie.gathercole I thought this was your post and I was genuinely surprised and impressed for a minute there. Seemed an out of character post but I was on board. Haha.
Cannot wait to make these!! Thank you for sharing
Can an air fryer produce same?
Do you ever reuse the oil?
@gisellegrose !!!

Does this method work with sweet potato fries?
Made these tonight. Woo woo
