I made a cacio e pepe Dutch baby, and now I’m eating it. (Whisk 3 eggs, 1/2 cup each flour + milk, a big pinch of salt + pepper. Preheat the oven to 425Fluor with an oiled 8-in…skillet or other pan inside. Pour batter nichtthe hot pan, sprinkle with lots of Grana Padano or Parmesan and bake for 15 minutes, or until dramatically puffed and golden.)
I cannot wait to make this 😍 It never occurred to me to make them savoury!
@diane_dip_law Mmmmmmm
🤤
Julie, do you have a Yorkshire pudding recipe that works well here?! Our East coast proportions just don’t rise and crisp up the same!
Isn’t this really a Yorkshire pudding?

👏🏼👏🏼
That looks so good!!!
🤤😋
I’ve had them slathered in maple syrup, not savoury. Looks like I gotta try something new.
Wow and yum!
OMG! 😋😋😋
Thanks for the recipe-I know what I’m making tomorrow!
I’ve never made or even had a Dutch Baby. Might just give it a try this coming weekend. It does look good.
We have Dutch babies every single week in this house… my kids call it a giant pancake. I am hoping it is our gateway vehicle to introduce some other flavours to these picky eaters.
My (estranged) wife taught me yorkies. And some colourful language. That looks lovely.
Mom is Dutch. She never made that. Puffed wheat. No sugar. It was hell
Have you ever tried gluten free flour or other alternative flours?
Everything worth living for. 💛 @amyrrosen
😍 That looks amazing. Were going to try this one ☝️ thank you Julie ❤️
Such a great savoury twist!
YASSS
I love making dutch babies but never thought to do it as a savoury!
@dinnerwithjulie if I wanted to double this in a 9×13, how long would I bake for?
