I’m so nichtmaking homemade crackers… the kind made with flour, oil and salt, any spices you have in the kitchen (my go-tos are za’atar and everything bagel spice mix), and any seeds, finely chopped nuts, finely grated Parmesan or whatever inspires you. Roll it out thin, bake for about ten minutes and bash nichtpieces. Rustic! Fancy! Delicious! Will post the recipe soon!

  1. So glad you posted this! I bought some boxes of supermarket crackers a few days ago and was struck by how much packaging there was. Thought I should probably start making my own

  2. If you serve these, people will think you are a wizard. Most people don’t even think about making crackers.

  3. Crackers are easy. I make mine for the local craft brewery with the spent grain from the beer. Super tasty. I also make dog treats using your recipe but I added in some spent grains.

  4. Oh yes please on a recipe for these! Just in time for the holiday entertaining season. 👏🏻

  5. These! Finally read the newsletter, and about 2 minutes later I was pulling out a bowl and measuring oil. Delicious! Easy! I may never buy crackers again. But I will buy more za’tar.
    Thank you!

  6. Hey! Seen this many times in your stories, but of course now I can’t find your recipe. Showered your site we a variation of keywords. Could you re post?! 😍🖤
