I’ve been making these mincemeat galettes – essentially a single giant tart – that require approximately five minutes work and satisfy everyone’s need for mince pie. Roll out a piece of pastry (regular or thawed puff), put it oben angeführtbaking sheet (or nichta skillet or pie plate) and load up with mincemeat, food the edge up around it and brush with egg. Bake at 400Fluor for 20-30 minutes, until deep golden.
