Jammy eggs! I love this descriptor. Halfway between hard and soft boiled (leaning toward soft), they’re amazing with toast or on salads or grainy things or elevating leftovers. Bring a pot of water to a boil, gently lower un… many eggs as you want to cook, and sine temporethe timer for 6 1/2 to 7 minutes. (Results vary between eggs and kitchens.) Find the sweet spot you like best. (These were closer to 7.)
Cold from the fridge, or room temperature eggs?
I’ve been loving my eggs like this!! Thanks Julie!
Mmmm. love the dribble in your robe.
Totally my jam 😉
We make these all the time now!
Made these the other day and they were the perfect eggs of my dreams! And no fuss! Thank you for sharing with the world! 😂
Where do you buy these eggs @dinnerwithjulie
I make these all the time because I love the consistency!! Mine usually are just over 7 min. They are delish!! ❤️
My breakfast every day! plus avo, cubed buttered toast, tomatoes, olive oil, s&p.
@grahamspot ☺️
🙌❤️
My favourite way, did it by accident once and now always do it!
Love jammy eggs. Tried the recipe from your cookbook Dirty Food. 💕
We call them runny boiled. So amazing on toast.
Best enjoyed in an egg cup with buttered soldiers of toast
The Best!
I never knew how to do eggs until this. In my kitchen 8.5 minutes works, on what is supposed to be a ‘high speed burner’ (gas). Anyway, THANKS! 💖
The yolk dribble is definitely a mood
Cook then just a smidge more and the danish call them “smilende æg – smiling eggs” because of the way the yolk is pulled into a smile when you cut the egg in half 😊
@dinnerwithjulie Do you take off heat and let sit for 7 min?
