Sliced ice cream always reminds me of the panda ice cream from 1988!
Oh this is everything. Now my head is exploding. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Hmmm what could you roll it in, first?
This is hilarious, elegant, and delicious all in one!!!!
Haha! How my mother served eight of us after Sunday dinner.
I LOVE this idea!
My favourite dessert as a child was a slab of chocolate ice cream between two warm waffles. ❤
Game changer!
Love it. This is the ice cream we used in our Bunwiches. Gotta love that slab ice cream!
I grew up with this in Finland. We only had ice cream in slabs, so this was the easiest way to do a family style dessert. Any compote from the farm worked… strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or currants.
And then once in a while freshly made waffles got thrown into the mix…!
I thought it was feta and cooked tomatoes. What a great idea!!!!! Either way lol
Crumbled bacon and pecan pieces then drizzle with maple syrup. You’ll thank or curse me later!!🤣
Slicing ice cream into slabs is also good for making homemade ice cream sandwiches 🤤
You could do a chocolate shell, like fiddlestix!!
In 1988 or there abouts Alpha milk had a slice and serve ice cream to celebrate the pandas at the Calgary Zoo. Once you sliced it you could see the pandas face.
Vienneta – is that what that sliced ice cream cake was called in the 90s??
This was a hallmark of kids’ birthday parties in the 70s and 80s. Neapolitan all the way!
At camp when I was a camper, we use to get waffles and then a box of Chapman’s ice cream. The ice cream would be sliced in slabs that we would place on the waffle with another waffle on top. Reminds me of the ice cream waffle sandwiches from the EX. So good
🤯💚💚💚
✨🌟Brilliant!✨
Vienetta ice cream log was a standard when I visited relatives in the former East Block (circa 1994). Best thing since sliced bread: sliced ice cream.
What do you mean slice and serve? It’s one serving no? 😋😝
🍨 for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner #goals
Drooling 🤤
Simplicity speaks volumes🍾
The Danes love boxed ice cream! And presented nicely in slices …. so…many…kinds
